Water a Little Everyday!

My co-worker/friend and I were talking about how I tend to be an all or nothing kind of gal when it comes to certain things. For instance, I either eat no sugar, or I think I need to have it every day, instead of just having a balance throughout my life.

We also talked about how this was a struggle for the two of us when it came to our Bible study time. She said that before she went back to work outside of the home, she was able to study for three hours every day. Now, because she didn't have three hours a day, she had had to focus on reading at least one scripture a day consistently and not feeling bad or giving up because it couldn't be the full three hours she enjoyed before.

Our conversation made me think about gardening. My daughters and I recently finished planting the garden and were faced what surely follows—weeding. My goal was to get up early in order to hoe two rows each morning, remembering to do a little each day. I also had to remember that this would apply when watering my flowers—each day giving them a drink so they would grow and flourish.

So whether you are starting an exercise program, trying to eat better, or learning how to study, Happy Trail Farms reminds you to do a little every day. It works in gardening, and it keeps you from being overwhelmed in other areas, too. Even if some days seem more productive than others, small steps will lead to much success.

I truly love all of the options that FlagsRUs.com offers us to keep us reminded of the goal of watering a little every day!

Also, don't forget that Father's Day is coming up soon. Be sure and check out the options available for dad and grandpa with our lovely garden flags and other items.
